Staff Purchase

These Terms & Conditions are applicable to all eligible employees of L’Oreal Hong Kong Limited (“L’Oreal”) who participate in the Staff Purchase (SP) event. L’Oreal reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and the FGSP Policy from time to time at its discretion.



PROHIBITED CONDUCT:

PRODUCTS PURCHASED THROUGH THE STAFF PURCHASE EVENT ARE STRICTLY FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY. PRODUCTS MUST NOT BE RE-SOLD, WHETHER PERSONALLY, THROUGH AN AGENT, SHOP, STALL OR MARKET OR OTHERWISE. ALL PRODUCT DISCOUNT LISTS PUBLISHED / CIRCULATED MUST BE TREATED AS STRICTLY PRIVATE & CONFIDENTIAL AND YOU ARE NOT AUTHORISED TO DISCLOSE SUCH DETAILS WITH ANY PERSONS OUTSIDE L’OREAL. YOU ARE NOT AUTHORISED TO SHARE YOUR PERSONAL L’OREAL ACCOUNT INFORMATION WITH ANY UNAUTHORISED PERSONS. L’ORÉAL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SUSPEND YOUR L’OREAL ACCOUNT AND CANCEL ALL ENTITLEMENTS IN THE EVENT YOU ARE SUSPECTED OF RE-SELLING GOODS PURCHASED DURING A STAFF PURCHASE EVENT. ANY VIOLATION OF L’ORÉAL POLICY (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS, EMPLOYEE GUIDELINES AND OTHER L’OREAL GROUP DIRECTIVES ETC.) MAY RESULT IN STRICT DISCIPLINARY ACTION UP TO AND INCLUDING IMMEDIATE EMPLOYMENT TERMINATION.

1. Order Submission

• By participating in a SP event and accessing and ordering from the SP website (http://loreal.onthelist.com) (“Website”), you are deemed to have read, acknowledged and accepted the FGSP Policy and these Terms and Conditions. The Website is operated by our vendor Onthelist Limited (“OTL”)

  • • SP ordering must be done through the Website. The Website is for use by L’Oreal staff only, and must not be shared with anyone outside L’Oreal.
  • • The Staff Discount Purchases wish lists will be visible upon log-in and applied at check-out.
  • • Each employee is allowed to submit only one (1) order through the Website for the duration of the SP event. You are not permitted to place an order with a total value exceeding HKD5,000 (based on the recommended retail price).
  • • Any modification or cancellation of your order is not allowed once your order has been placed, regardless of whether the SP event is still open or not.


2. Payment

  • • You may pay for your order via Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, or American Express only on the Website.
  • • You will receive an “Order Confirmation Notice” after your order has been placed and payment has been received. Failure in payment after the system close will result in forfeited entitlement and late payment is not allowed.
  • • Payment will be taken in Hong Kong dollars, and if applicable, your card will be charged in your currency according to the applicable exchange rate adopted by your card issuer at that time.
  • • By submitting your payment details via the Website, you confirm that the credit card/online payment account used is yours or that you have been authorized by the owner to use it.


3. Delivery

  • • Orders below HK$500 -- Hong Kong [ Standard Delivery: HK$ 40 ] | Macau [ Standard Delivery: HK$ 60 ]
  • • Orders above HK$500 -- Free shipping 
  • • All products ordered will only be delivered by following means and locations. You must ensure that the correct delivery information is provided prior to check out:

  • • Neither L’Oreal nor OTL will be held liable for any missing parcels signed for and delivered to non-residential addresses or in the event when the wrong/incorrect address or recipient is provided.
  • • No correction on delivery address, billing information or contact details is allowed upon order submission. If you wish to change your delivery and contact details, please contact OTL directly and raise your request. You will be responsible for any extra delivery charges as a result of a change to your delivery details at your own cost.
  • • You are not allowed to send any SP order to L’Oreal’s registered office or POS address. Your order will be cancelled and your product quota will be forfeited without notice if any suspected SP parcel is found within L’Oreal’s premises.


4. Exchanges, Return and Refunds

  • • All products purchased from a SP event cannot be returned or exchanged, unless they are defective.
  • • If you believe you received a defective product due to damage in shipment, manufacturer error or defective materials, please contact the OTL customer service team by email at lorealcs@hk.onthelist.com.
  • • Defective products must be reported within 3 working days after delivery. In order to process your exchange, you will be required to provide your order number, a description of the defect (including photos if available) and any other information about your use of the product that may help us understand the potential defect.
  • • Once we receive your item, OTL will inspect the products in consultation with L’Oreal and notify you on the status of your request for exchange after inspecting the item. Determinations regarding product defects will be at L’Oreal’s sole discretion.
  • • In the event that a product is determined to be defective due to damage in shipment, manufacturer error or defective materials, the product will be exchanged with the same product if applicable. If L’Oreal determines that the replacement of a defective product is not practical, a refund will be provided for that product (via the same payment method used to submit the order).
  • • Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your repaired/replacement product to reach you may vary.
  • • L’Oreal will be responsible for paying for the delivery costs for returning your item for defective products only.
  • • In the event L'Oreal cannot supply a product you ordered under a SP event, OTL will cancel the order and request for a refund from your credit card’s issuing bank.
  • • The refund will be proceeded according to the purchase price you paid and directly credit to your credit card or original method of payment. The refund process may take around 4 weeks after the refund is authorised, subject to your card issuer's policies.
  • • Please contact the OTL customer service team in case of any late/missing refunds.


5. Product Availability and Limitations

  • • All products offered as part of a SP event are offered on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • • Ordered items may be out-of-stock, and are subject to the stock availability.
  • • L’Oréal reserves the right without prior notice to change quantities available for staff purchase at any time, for any reason whatsoever and without cause irrespective of whether an order was created.


6. Enquiry

7. General

  • • L’Oréal reserves the right to refuse / cancel orders from eligible staff at any time.
  • • L’Oréal reserves the right to remove products from a SP event, or cancel a SP event, any time without prior notice.
  • • L’Oréal may amend these Terms and Conditions and/or the FGSP Policy at any time without prior notice.
  • • All personal data collected via the Website will be governed by OTL’s privacy policy and personal information collection statement (https://loreal.onthelist.com/pages/privacy-policy).
  • • L’Oréal reserve the right of final decision on the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions and the FGSP Policy.
  • • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
